Bulpan: Reviews & Ratings
I stay paris for 7 days and I visit this restaurant for 3 times! Is opposite my hotel and it is very delicious, is very authentic by korean couple for more than 20years over here! I not even got enough time to take the photos of the food because we can’t wait to eat the food! Highly recommend!
Our curiosity made us come back here after one day strolling around the Kmart area and spot a hidden Korean restaurant seems to be run by Korean ajumma the inside of the restaurant was much more spacious than the impression it gave from the outside. A bit pricey but we loved the both dishes we tried jajangmyeon and jjamppong. We’ve never been to South Korea and only ate instant black soybean noodle before, so this was a real upscale jajangmyeon experience, their fresh noodle was so yummy, al dente like a good pasta! The seafood soup bowl was huge, good to share for 2 people. The only slight disappointment was that we were expecting more banchan (small sides often served in a Korean meal). Anw we would come back again to try different items, they have such a big menu with so many Korean dishes that are super tempting
Great Authentic Korean food at very reasonable with great service and tea! As you can see all the food was finished because it was delicious.

Located in the heart of Paris at 15 Rue du Theatre, Bulpan is a Korean culinary gem that effortlessly brings authentic flavors to the city’s vibrant food scene. Run by a devoted Korean couple with over 20 years of experience, this restaurant delivers an unrivaled taste of Korea, making it a must-visit for both locals and travelers craving genuine Korean cuisine.
Stepping inside Bulpan, you’re greeted by a spacious yet cozy atmosphere that contrasts with its unassuming exterior. The menu is extensive, showcasing a variety of traditional Korean dishes, each prepared with utmost care and authenticity. Highlights include the impeccable jajangmyeon – a fresh, al dente black soybean noodle dish that elevates what many might know from instant versions, offering a complex and satisfying flavor profile. The jjamppong, a hearty seafood soup, stands out not only for its generous portion size but also for its rich, spicy broth infused with fresh ocean ingredients, perfect for sharing.
Signature dishes like the bossam and agujjim exemplify Bulpan’s dedication to quality and taste. The bossam is tender, juicy pork wrapped with perfect accompaniments, while the agujjim, a spicy steamed monkfish stew, bursts with depth and warmth that lingers memorably. Their kimchi and other banchan, while somewhat modest in variety, maintain the vibrant, fermented zest typical of Korean gastronomy. Fans of Korean street food will also appreciate the crispy pancakes and fried chicken, which crisply deliver bold, savory layers and comfort.
Beyond the rich flavors, Bulpan’s charm lies in its authentic Korean hospitality and the meticulous preparation that respects tradition without sacrificing flair. The overall dining experience sparks joy and satisfaction, leaving guests like Valerie Wong and Andrew Morris enthusiastic in their praise and eager to return. Whether you’re a Korean cuisine connoisseur or a curious newcomer, Bulpan stands as a sincere, flavorful journey into Korea’s culinary heritage, right in Paris.
